David Grannis
Life: Died January 7, 1834, at age 79. Buried in the Old Cemetery at Gowanda, reportedly the first burial there.
Service: Served in the Connecticut Line and fought in the Battles of Long Island and White Plains.
Family: His widow, Clarissa, received a pension until her death in 1852.
