Sean Coulter, Afghanistan — Our Veterans, Their Stories

Sean Coulter entered the Army May 9, 1997, and served honorably for 23 years. He retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel with assignments that included Chief Operations for the 25th Infantry Division; Commander of Logistics for the 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment 1st Armored Division in Iraq as well as senior advisor to the Afghan army.

His interview focused on his time in Afghanistan working with the Afghan army. In his interview, he discusses the culture, landscape and history of the country.
